      Martin established AAS Airfield Solutions to provide independent specialist technical & operational advice to airports globally. He   specialises in electronic and visual airfield navigational aids and high voltage electrical systems. He is a practicing ATSEP, Project Engineer and Trainer.


    Following an extensive career in the United King

      Martin established AAS Airfield Solutions to provide independent specialist technical & operational advice to airports globally. He   specialises in electronic and visual airfield navigational aids and high voltage electrical systems. He is a practicing ATSEP, Project Engineer and Trainer.


    Following an extensive career in the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence as an Electronics specialist, Training Manager and  Engineering Authority, Martin worked for ADB Airfield Solutions. At ADB he managed teams of engineers and specialists supporting airfield lighting, airport operational capability and AGL requirements globally; with responsibility for the full life cycle support to customers for their airfield infrastructure through surveys, installation, technical training, commissioning, maintenance, and equipment warranty support.  Martin then spent over 10 years in the United Arab Emirates as a Training Development and Project Manager  driving forward Air Traffic Control solutions to meet project and operational competency requirements for the Airspace planning, AIM and Engineering departments at Dubai International Airport. More recently he has been working in Project roles as an ATSEP delivering Air Traffic Flow, ATM, Air Traffic Engineering and A-CDM capability to meet developing operational needs.


      He now provides freelance services to many customers and agencies including Entry Point North, Airports Company South Africa (ACSA); TMS Photometrics (UK); Oman Airports Management Company; Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC); PAS, Singapore; Possehl Industries in the Netherlands; the Uganda CAA, and NAC in Papua New Guinea.


    Throughout his career he has delivered the full project lifecycle  management and support of  Communications, Navigation and Surveillance systems, Visual Control Facilities, Airfield Ground Lighting and  associated  Infrastructure at many airfields in the UK and elsewhere.  His experience stretches for over 40 years working in the ATC and airfield domain in many other varied roles including operational management, quality, requirements, and safety engineering as well as leading the teams responsible for Training Needs Analysis, Training development and Instructional delivery.

     Keith has a lifetime background and 50 years’ experience in aircraft, airports & airfield  engineering roles including AGL Specialist, Trainer and Business Manager (UK Royal Navy, GEC / Alstom (now ATG), ADB Siemens Head of Customer Service, Perfect Airport Solutions & TMS Photometrics) . 


    He has been actively involved in the development 

     Keith has a lifetime background and 50 years’ experience in aircraft, airports & airfield  engineering roles including AGL Specialist, Trainer and Business Manager (UK Royal Navy, GEC / Alstom (now ATG), ADB Siemens Head of Customer Service, Perfect Airport Solutions & TMS Photometrics) . 


    He has been actively involved in the development of Airfield Ground  Lighting policy including AGL training courses and is an active member of the United  Kingdom’s AGL Competency and Safety Working Group recognized by the IET - Institution of Engineering and Technology, the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority and is a Guest Lecturer for the Singapore Aviation Academy, an ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence. He possesses extensive and practical experience in airport engineering, airfield lighting design and installation, airfield maintenance, program management, training and certification for the aviation industry worldwide. 


    His extensive career has included the management of an internationally recognized AGL supplier’s engineering support department responsible for:  Site engineering and technical support to clients worldwide, leading teams of specialist service engineers operating globally, the management of the company’s Technical Customer Complaints Department and their Training Department where he developed, set-up and executed internationally  recognized AGL training courses to ICAO standards.
